Michael and Jackson tackle a whirlwind of topics in this lively episode, beginning with the confusion surrounding historical figures like Helen Keller and Anne Frank. As they explore the legacies of these two iconic women, they delve into the controversial question of whether Keller's achievements were genuine or exaggerated. With humor and wit, they discuss the societal perceptions of disability and the impact of mentorship, particularly focusing on Anne Sullivan's role in Keller's life. The duo lightheartedly debates the nature of authenticity in historical narratives, reflecting on how individual experiences can shape public perception. This engaging conversation is not just about historical figures; it’s a broader commentary on the complexities of identity, representation, and the sometimes blurry line between inspiration and exploitation.

The episode also ventures into more personal territories as Michael and Jackson share their recent experiences at the gym, shedding light on their evolving fitness journeys. They candidly discuss the challenges of maintaining a workout routine and the awkwardness of gym culture, including the peculiarities of public behavior, such as nose-picking. Through these anecdotes, listeners get a humorous glimpse into their lives, making the heavier themes more relatable. The conversation takes an interesting turn as they discuss magicians and their antics, using this as a metaphor for the tricks we play on ourselves and others in navigating life’s challenges.

This segment not only highlights the intersection of technology and societal discourse but also invites listeners to consider how digital platforms can influence historical narratives. The episode culminates in a rich tapestry of philosophical musings, personal stories, and comedic relief, leaving the audience with thought-provoking questions about identity, history, and the nature of truth in a world filled with distractions and misinformation.

Speaker A:

I have a question for you.

Speaker A:

Do you think Helen Keller was a fraud?

Speaker A:

Wait, before I say that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Helen Keller, not Anne Frank.

Speaker A:

Anne Frank definitely went through awful, awful things.

Speaker A:

And, like, then we all read her diary.

Speaker A:

Went through enough.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

See, it took me.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

Yeah, it took me a second to even process your question because I had to put together who was who.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's definitely not Anne Frank.

Speaker B:

That is a fraud.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Anyways, and Frank is the best.

Speaker A:

Was.

Speaker A:

I did have a few drinks last night, so I am not drinking today on the episode.

Speaker B:

So did I.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker B:

We probably shouldn't keep up, like a Wednesday night out thing.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker B:

Not that we planned it in two different cities.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

But.

Speaker B:

Yeah, you know, every now and then you go through the week and it's Thursday.

Speaker B:

You're like, all right, I'll go a little loose.

Speaker B:

Now we're doing Wednesdays like this.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I was like, you know?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I was like, hey, this is.

Speaker A:

We're a little far from the last time we had a drink.

Speaker A:

I was like, we should probably push it up a day.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I ended up going out to watch the World Series game last night.

Speaker A:

Unfortunately.

Speaker A:

I know I'm wearing a San Francisco hat.

Speaker A:

I can't stand the Dodgers.

Speaker A:

So I was rooting for the Yankees, but the Yankees didn't play.

Speaker A:

Like, it's like we had.

Speaker A:

We had a.

Speaker A:

We blew a five point lead.

Speaker A:

It was five run.

Speaker A:

If you're a baseball person, five run lead.

Speaker A:

Yeah, either way.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But yeah, it was just.

Speaker A:

It was upsetting to see that because it was like, I got to the bar and I had a drink, and I was actually with a co worker who doesn't drink.

Speaker B:

Do they do vitamins?

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker B:

But California sober, as the kids call it.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

And I actually told him that, and he didn't know that that was a term.

Speaker A:

He's like, is that a thing?

Speaker A:

And I was like, that's you, my man.

Speaker A:

And he was like, hell, yeah, I'm gonna use that.

Speaker A:

I'm like, you should.

Speaker A:

And then I.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so he pretty much just watched me down like, three double vodka sodas.

Speaker A:

I started drinking them quicker as the.

Speaker B:

As you get deeper in vodka sodas.

Speaker A:

Well, yeah, they just start tasting better or like, nothing.

Speaker A:

So you're like, all right, yeah, bucket, pour me another one.

Speaker A:

Like, make it a triple.

Speaker A:

But we ended up.

Speaker A:

So that.

Speaker A:

So we ended up doing that.

Speaker A:

And then I.

Speaker A:

But also as the Yankees got worse and worse, like they were making more errors, and I was like, okay.

Speaker A:

I was like, Yep, we're gonna do one more.

Speaker A:

And I, like, she had closed us out.

Speaker A:

And I go, you know, maybe put one more.

Speaker B:

So did you ask to close out, or was she like, all right, like, she.

Speaker A:

She closes.

Speaker A:

I mean, everyone else had left.

Speaker A:

We were the last two people on the patio because it was like, patio in October in Chicago.

Speaker B:

Getting a little chilly.

Speaker A:

But it was.

Speaker A:

No, it was perfect.

Speaker A:

The past two days have been 80.

Speaker A:

Today's 53.

Speaker A:

So it was probably, like, low 70s when we went for the game.

Speaker A:

But, like, still, it was, like, breezy 70s.

Speaker A:

But the wind started to pick up, and then it was rainy all day today, so.

Speaker A:

But yeah, I actually.

Speaker A:

And you'll be proud of me for this.

Speaker A:

I started going to the gym again.

Speaker B:

Wow.

Speaker A:

Like, regularly.

Speaker A:

I went, like, a couple days in a row this week, and that's a huge win for me because normally I do one, and I'm like, I'm so sore.

Speaker B:

How are you feeling?

Speaker A:

I'm super sore, but in a good way.

Speaker A:

Like, it's like, I've almost changed my perspective on it, but I do it as part of my morning ritual now.

Speaker A:

So, like.

Speaker A:

Or yeah.

Speaker A:

So, like, I do, like, I get up, and then I do my weights immediately as soon as I get in there.

Speaker A:

And then I do cardio to cool down, and then I do, like, the.

Speaker A:

I go in, and I've started doing the, like.

Speaker A:

I feel like an old man getting his schmitz.

Speaker A:

I go in, I do my steam room.

Speaker B:

I mean, I'm so pissed.

Speaker B:

My gym does not have a steam room.

Speaker B:

I would do it every day if I had the opportunity.

Speaker A:

So every gym I've gone to had a sauna, and I was like, okay, whatever.

Speaker A:

And I would use it sometimes.

Speaker A:

But the steam room is such a game changer, especially after a night out.

Speaker B:

Oh, my God.

Speaker A:

Like, you go in.

Speaker A:

I don't even work out sometimes on a night out.

Speaker A:

I'll just.

Speaker A:

Like, after, like, a Sunday morning, sometimes I'll be like, I'm hurting real bad.

Speaker A:

I'll just go sit in the steam room.

Speaker A:

Because it's got, like, that eucalyptus, like, scent in it.

Speaker A:

One guy.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I don't think you're the only one in that.

Speaker B:

Like, I think a lot of people do it same as honest.

Speaker B:

Just like, on, like, weekends, like, I'm just going there just to sweat.

Speaker A:

Well, yeah.

Speaker A:

And so, like, the nice thing is they have a hot tub, too.

Speaker A:

So like, sometimes.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

If I go, what gym is this?

Speaker A:

This is the Lincoln Park Athletic Club.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker B:

You got money?

Speaker B:

Money.

Speaker A:

I go to an Athletic Club.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Never been there.

Speaker B:

Heard amazing things.

Speaker B:

My brother's wife used to go there and just spoke, like, how awesome it was.

Speaker B:

I want her to work there.

Speaker B:

So, like, free membership.

Speaker A:

There was actually a Pilates instructor that looked so much like her.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

And I was like, in the back of this class.

Speaker A:

Well, no, it wasn't Pilates.

Speaker A:

It was.

Speaker A:

It was like an interval, like high intensity interval thing.

Speaker B:

A hit class.

Speaker A:

Yeah, hit class.

Speaker A:

And then they had.

Speaker A:

I was like, in the back of this class, and this is like a year and a half ago, and I go, I'm, like, working out.

Speaker A:

And I was like, is this Nicole?

Speaker A:

Like, I was like.

Speaker A:

I'm like, dude, gay girl.

Speaker A:

We know each other.

Speaker B:

Great class today.

Speaker A:

I'm like, remember when I threw up on that boat?

Speaker B:

If you don't, your son does.

Speaker A:

Your son saw the whole thing.

Speaker B:

He still wakes up at night.

Speaker A:

No, I just.

Speaker A:

I thought I heard heaving.

Speaker A:

What was.

Speaker B:

Honey, it was that man.

Speaker B:

I can't.

Speaker B:

I can't get the sound out of my ears.

Speaker A:

I can't hear the.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Anytime someone says, hold my cigarette, I start to cry because that was the day that I had, like, just bought like a, like, brand new pair of swim trunks.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You also didn't eat anything.

Speaker A:

I didn't eat anything because, like, I was an adult.

Speaker A:

am to get on the boat at:

Speaker A:

And I was like, well, no time for bullshit.

Speaker B:

Might as well crack one.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I was like, yeah, I got beer.

Speaker A:

You know, it's like eating a loaf of bread and you just get drunk about it.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Bill Hader has a funny bit about that where he sees, like, he was doing a character on snl and he was like, yeah, he's like a Guinness.

Speaker A:

He's like, it's the same as a having a dinner roll.

Speaker A:

He goes, but it's crazy.

Speaker A:

He goes, I've never woke up naked on someone's front lawn after 12 dinner rolls.

Speaker A:

But yes.

Speaker A:

So I started going to the gym.

Speaker A:

Today or.

Speaker A:

Not today.

Speaker A:

Like, just today?

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Yeah, like Tuesday.

Speaker A:

And then I immediately.

Speaker A:

I was like.

Speaker A:

Just like, started doing the sign, the steam room, first day.

Speaker A:

And then that was, like, immediate.

Speaker A:

As soon as you do that, I mean, at that point, you're already naked in the locker room.

Speaker A:

You might as well just jump in the shower.

Speaker A:

So I've been showering there, too.

Speaker A:

And I mean, I.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I'm like, I do the whole thing.

Speaker A:

I do the whole thing.

Speaker A:

Like, I feel like.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

Like an old man at the club.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Just sit there, read the paper with my leg up, completely naked.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker A:

I was.

Speaker A:

It is crazy because, like, it's always like, the oldest men possible that just are.

Speaker A:

Like, they don't.

Speaker A:

They're like.

Speaker A:

A towel.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Oh, for sure.

Speaker B:

I mean, like, the.

Speaker B:

Is dragging on the floor, let's be honest.

Speaker B:

Like, it's.

Speaker A:

It's just bouncing between their kneecaps.

Speaker A:

And you're like, yeah, I get stuck.

Speaker B:

In the drain, you know?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I think he had the suction.

Speaker A:

The suction.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I saw a guy, he wasn't even old.

Speaker A:

Like, he was like 40s, maybe at tops.

Speaker A:

And he maybe like, early 50s.

Speaker A:

He goes.

Speaker A:

He comes into the steam room, and he didn't even.

Speaker A:

He didn't bring a towel.

Speaker A:

Well, he did, but just to sit on, like, he literally just brought it in like this in front of him.

Speaker A:

And then he set it down just like.

Speaker A:

And then he turned around and he sat down, and he kind of kept his hands, like, over his junk.

Speaker A:

And then when people would walk in, but then he would open it up and he would just sit there.

Speaker A:

Like, you know, when people.

Speaker B:

When people walked in, he.

Speaker A:

He was like, whoa, don't look at it.

Speaker A:

And then he was like, all right, you can look at it.

Speaker A:

And I was like, man, I was like, this guy's confidence.

Speaker A:

This is how I'm trying to be.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker B:

Let me.

Speaker B:

How I guess, do you, like, if.

Speaker B:

If this man, you know, walked.

Speaker B:

Walked by you on the street, would you recognize him?

Speaker A:

I was really trying not.

Speaker A:

I don't try not to look at people in there.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, I'm just, like, looking up.

Speaker A:

Like, that's when I do my, like, reflection on the day ahead of me.

Speaker A:

What has happened so far?

Speaker A:

Because sometimes.

Speaker A:

Sometimes I do get tied up in the morning, and I end up going around, like, noon.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So, like, then I was like, okay.

Speaker A:

So I just, you know, reflect on the day.

Speaker A:

I do, like, you know, a prayer, things like that.

Speaker A:

And then I saw this guy just walk in.

Speaker A:

Just no holds barred.

Speaker A:

He did not give a.

Speaker B:

Just full on Tarzan.

Speaker B:

Not even.

Speaker A:

He's like.

Speaker A:

He's like, I pay the fee just like the rest of you.

Speaker A:

And I'm like, then use the towels that we pay for.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker A:

But, yeah, so, okay, steam room, 10 times better.

Speaker A:

But I will say, and I always knew this, and I think you and I have talked about this in the past, but people work out weird.

Speaker A:

Like, some people, like, some people, like, not, like, not that they're doing it Wrong.

Speaker A:

It's just some people, like, sometimes the faces they make or some people are just in their own world when they're working out and they're so zoned out.

Speaker A:

Like, I saw some dude like taking us like a break between sets and he was probably like two knuckles deep in his nose, like.

Speaker A:

And I was like, like, it's not one of those.

Speaker A:

Like, oh, I got a thing here.

Speaker A:

You know, it's not one of those.

Speaker A:

It wasn't like, okay, we can make it quick.

Speaker A:

Yeah, it was like he was sitting there.

Speaker A:

He's like, oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

And he's like.

Speaker A:

But he's also scrolling through Twitter while he's like going through the set.

Speaker A:

And you're like.

Speaker A:

I was like, you think nobody else is like, seeing you?

Speaker A:

Like, not everybody's so zoned in on their, like.

Speaker A:

Because I was like, between sets I try not to look at my phone because I'm like trying to like, take a break from my, you know, like, while I'm at the gym, I'm trying not to be sitting there just texting, responding to texts.

Speaker A:

Because then I start responding to emails.

Speaker A:

I start responding to what, you know.

Speaker A:

So I just staring around kind of people watching.

Speaker A:

And this guy's like.

Speaker A:

And I was like, it's going to come out his eye.

Speaker A:

Like, he's deep.

Speaker B:

He needs to be careful.

Speaker A:

I was like, he's going to poke an eye out like from the direction that nobody's worried about.

Speaker A:

But yeah, so that was.

Speaker A:

I'll just.

Speaker A:

I was like, oh, wow.

Speaker A:

And then I.

Speaker A:

Then I.

Speaker A:

Then I was like, I saw that and I looked over to the other side and there's a guy doing pull ups.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But he's almost like biting the air and I'm like, personally can't do a pull up.

Speaker A:

So like, great on that guy.

Speaker A:

First of all, want to just say that right now I would probably look dumb as doing them too, but I'm just gonna say I don't think anyone gracefully does it.

Speaker A:

I was thinking about it for hours after that.

Speaker A:

I'm like, I don't think there's a good way to do it and not look like you're trying to like bite something, you know, like, it was just a weird.

Speaker A:

Again, I can't do one.

Speaker A:

So I'm not judging, I'm just observing.

Speaker A:

Other than that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I mean, I still can't get over the guy that just did not use a towel in the steam room.

Speaker A:

I was like, fucking, let's get a little.

Speaker A:

This guy.

Speaker A:

Am I right, guys?

Speaker A:

But then the other yesterday, I was in there, and the guy goes, oh, hey, is it cool if I put more water in the steam thing?

Speaker A:

And we're like, yeah, go for it.

Speaker A:

He did it and it filled up, and I don't think I'd ever been in there when it first fills up.

Speaker A:

And it's so thick.

Speaker A:

It's so awesome.

Speaker A:

Like, you can just feel your pores open.

Speaker B:

It's insane.

Speaker B:

It's awesome, though.

Speaker A:

How was your week?

Speaker B:

Busy.

Speaker B:

Filled with germs.

Speaker A:

Germs?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Her and I both got this little bug.

Speaker B:

I call it allergies, because I've never.

Speaker B:

All my life, allergies have not been a thing, right?

Speaker B:

At all.

Speaker B:

Been hashtag blessed.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that changed like, a week ago.

Speaker B:

Speaker B:

Went to Virginia beach for Halloween.

Speaker B:

Had, like, a little Halloween.

Speaker B:

A bar was doing, like, a competition for costumes, though we never at least got the witness first, second, and third place.

Speaker B:

Like, we were just waiting and, like, is someone walking around them with, like, a clipboard or anything?

Speaker B:

Like, who's.

Speaker B:

Who's running the competition?

Speaker B:

Because we thought our group thought we had some.

Speaker B:

Some possible winners.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I saw your guys'on on, like, Instagram.

Speaker A:

It was.

Speaker A:

It was good.

Speaker B:

The Graham.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

You know, once.

Speaker B:

Once you're a couple, like, vodka orange Crush, slushies deep, you start to really think you are stone cold Austin.

Speaker B:

Stone cold Steve Austin.

Speaker B:

You really start to think you're Hogan.

Speaker B:

You know, it's just.

Speaker B:

It gives you a little bit of confidence.

Speaker B:

So every now and then, you throw up the belt, you know, like, yeah, been there, done that, pinned them.

Speaker B:

I'm the champ.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Hold on.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna see if I can try and get.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna see if I can try and get this a picture of you guys up on the screen.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Because it was really good.

Speaker A:

No, you keep talking, like, how else was your week?

Speaker A:

Like, how was Virginia Beach?

Speaker B:

Virginia beach was good.

Speaker B:

The breeze on the ocean shore is not a joke.

Speaker B:

Witnessed a US at 10k of just Halloween costumes galore.

Speaker B:

It was amazing.

Speaker B:

The best ones we saw were people in hot air balloons.

Speaker B:

Hot air balloons.

Speaker B:

But they were in laundry baskets with, like, PVC pipe or some kind of pole.

Speaker B:

Shoot them up and then, like, a beach ball or a balloon on top.

Speaker B:

And it was really creative.

Speaker B:

Probably really easy, too.

Speaker B:

Saw a lot of, like, Lilo and Stitch.

Speaker B:

Just saw a lot of, like, the usuals, you know, vampires, witches.

Speaker B:

But it was good.

Speaker B:

Kind of mad that I didn't know about the race because I would have loved to do it.

Speaker B:

Not, like, I would have enjoyed It.

Speaker B:

But I think it would have just been, like, fine.

Speaker A:

The race or the contest?

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker B:

The race, though, like, still think we had.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

There was a lot of really good costumes.

Speaker B:

There's a dude in the bar on stilts.

Speaker B:

So, like, there was some very, like, high class costumes going on.

Speaker B:

Gosh.

Speaker B:

There was one dude that walked by and I was like, oh, he killed it.

Speaker B:

And I totally forgot who he was.

Speaker B:

Shocker.

Speaker A:

Oh, here, it's on Logan's.

Speaker A:

Oh, tell her to accept the request because it's private.

Speaker A:

It's for Windy City Joe's.

Speaker B:

Will you accept a follow request?

Speaker B:

Yeah, a follow request on your Instagram.

Speaker B:

You'll see.

Speaker A:

Oh, we could just deep dive her Instagram, talk about all of it.

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

She's excited that she's good, I heard.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

She might gain some followers from this.

Speaker B:

Definitely.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

She's gonna.

Speaker A:

She's gonna blow up.

Speaker B:

She said thanks.

Speaker B:

I'm honored.

Speaker A:

Oh, my God.

Speaker A:

Wait, hold on.

Speaker A:

They're not in here.

Speaker A:

Where's.

Speaker A:

Did you guys not post them or did you put them on your story?

Speaker B:

Oh, they were stories.

Speaker A:

Oh, damn it.

Speaker A:

Damn it.

Speaker A:

It was really good.

Speaker A:

He was stone cold, which we saw in the Halloween episode.

Speaker A:

And he was.

Speaker A:

And she was Hulk Hogan.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

And that was really cool.

Speaker A:

That was, I will say, like this.

Speaker A:

This is.

Speaker A:

I was like, that's.

Speaker A:

I was like, they're perfect for each other.

Speaker A:

Speaking of.

Speaker A:

Speaking of Halloween costumes, you get mad at me because I like to go for, like, obscure, like, really not noticeable, like, costumes that also look like just street wear clothes.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I don't think you go 100.

Speaker A:

Yeah, well, I.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Did you see my.

Speaker A:

My actual.

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

Cool.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

But I'll just go myself, I guess.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker A:

Don't.

Speaker B:

I like it.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

Okay, let's see.

Speaker B:

Oh, the robbers.

Speaker A:

Yeah, we are one of the robbers.

Speaker A:

And then Merkels had the wall of money.

Speaker B:

You want me to be impressed?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You're not super impressed by this.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker B:

You're just wearing all black, which you already do.

Speaker B:

And you're just wearing dark sunglasses when it's night.

Speaker B:

And you do that.

Speaker A:

You say that.

Speaker A:

But I'm not wearing any black right now.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but I think you plan that.

Speaker B:

What color pants are you wearing?

Speaker B:

Pants?

Speaker A:

No, I'm actually.

Speaker A:

I'm raw dog in it.

Speaker A:

You really want to stand like.

Speaker B:

Like the dude in the steam room.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

He inspired me.

Speaker A:

Okay, now I'm.

Speaker A:

They're green athleisure shorts, but yeah, so, whatever.

Speaker A:

I guess I just.

Speaker A:

Myself.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

Look at me.

Speaker B:

I'm a robber.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Well, I at least wore a.

Speaker A:

Like a.

Speaker A:

Like a hat that someone who would rob something would wear.

Speaker A:

But it was also very cold that day, so I lucked out.

Speaker A:

So there is.

Speaker A:

So I saw this video, and it made me think of you.

Speaker B:

Hey.

Speaker C:

Ready for the party?

Speaker A:

What do you think?

Speaker A:

Who are you?

Speaker B:

You seriously don't recognize me?

Speaker A:

No, not at all.

Speaker A:

Crewneck.

Speaker A:

The gene, it took.

Speaker A:

I really don't.

Speaker A:

I have no idea.

Speaker A:

Fine, I'll give you a hint.

Speaker A:

I'll give you a hint.

Speaker B:

Oh.

Speaker A:

Oh, please let me live with Mom.

Speaker A:

I want to stay with Mom.

Speaker A:

Please.

Speaker A:

Please.

Speaker A:

I'm your son.

Speaker A:

Who you lost custody of a little soon.

Speaker A:

Happened, like, two weeks ago.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's why it's insane you didn't recognize me immediately.

Speaker A:

Oh.

Speaker A:

Ready for the party?

Speaker A:

Oh, shit.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

You know who I am?

Speaker A:

No, who are you?

Speaker A:

The lawyer who gives your wife everything even though you did nothing wrong.

Speaker A:

Well, he did a lot wrong.

Speaker A:

I mean, his son was like, please save me, fellow.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I did lie a lot.

Speaker A:

You lied on his hand?

Speaker A:

Yeah, I was a witness.

Speaker A:

I sold him out.

Speaker A:

Immediately thought, be funny.

Speaker A:

It was funny.

Speaker A:

I mean, for real.

Speaker A:

The bailiff was laughing.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Oh, my God, this stenographer, you know, the Steinberg was, like, giving me eyes, like, midway through the trial.

Speaker A:

She couldn't.

Speaker B:

Well, she could.

Speaker B:

I'm not gonna go to the party.

Speaker A:

Oh, come on.

Speaker A:

You wear fucking shorts.

Speaker A:

It was Zoom Court.

Speaker A:

Zoom Court.

Speaker B:

Wanna make out?

Speaker B:

Wanna make out?

Speaker B:

All right.

Speaker B:

That reminded me, or you of me.

Speaker A:

Like, it's a good thing.

Speaker A:

No, no, no, no.

Speaker A:

It reminded, like, in the sense of.

Speaker A:

Like, you're.

Speaker A:

Like you're not even trying.

Speaker A:

Like, you know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, that's something I would wear for Halloween.

Speaker B:

True.

Speaker A:

Not that you've lost your children in a divorce recently.

Speaker A:

That wasn't the part.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

That was just added humor, in my opinion.

Speaker B:

I liked it.

Speaker B:

I like that, though.

Speaker B:

The one guy, I don't trust him.

Speaker A:

Which one?

Speaker B:

The one that was the.

Speaker B:

That it really happened to.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

No, no, no, no.

Speaker A:

Yeah, he must have done some bad shit.

Speaker A:

All right, now, being that we already had our Halloween special, we're in the fall holidays now, right?

Speaker A:

Like, we've experienced Halloween.

Speaker A:

The leaves are on the ground, the magic is in the air.

Speaker A:

That's going to take us right into Thanksgiving, right into Christmas, Hanukkah, whatever you celebrate, and then into the New year year.

Speaker A:

But we only do this part of the podcast because Sonny doesn't watch Tick Tocks.

Speaker A:

Like, if you just watch Tick Tocks, I could just send these to him, but I can't.

Speaker A:

So we had to do a podcast.

Speaker A:

We had to start a podcast just for me to show him some tic tacs.

Speaker A:

Have you ever seen the tick tocks of the.

Speaker A:

The magician?

Speaker A:

The guy who does like magic?

Speaker B:

No.

Speaker A:

That's what a magician is.

Speaker A:

So it's.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Well, get ready, strap in.

Speaker A:

And this guy, this is, I believe, a compilation is what I downloaded of his selling some of his videos.

Speaker C:

Take a bottle, becomes a glass.

Speaker C:

Where did it go?

Speaker C:

It's in my ass.

Speaker C:

Everybody hates magic and I don't care.

Speaker C:

I have three ropes, all different sizes.

Speaker C:

Watch.

Speaker C:

I gather up the ends of the rope, give a little pull.

Speaker C:

Now they're the same size.

Speaker C:

I get rid of this rope here, take these two.

Speaker C:

Give a whipping a nae.

Speaker C:

And now we got one big piece of rope.

Speaker C:

Now I'm gonna show you the best.

Speaker A:

Part of the show.

Speaker C:

After this, you might poop.

Speaker A:

Watch.

Speaker C:

I take the ends of the rope and I take the middle of the rope.

Speaker C:

But they're gonna change places.

Speaker C:

Are you ready?

Speaker C:

Why aren't you laughing?

Speaker C:

That was comedy.

Speaker C:

I take the ends of the rope, give a little twist, pull them right off.

Speaker C:

Now we got a rope with no ends.

Speaker A:

Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh.

Speaker C:

Ah, put them right back on.

Speaker A:

Clap.

Speaker A:

Give me money.

Speaker C:

Got a tube and a can of coke.

Speaker C:

Put the tube over the coke, turns into a three month supply of antidepressants.

Speaker C:

This is the mystical fold of Elder.

Speaker C:

Nothing on either side yet.

Speaker C:

When I reach in, we have 30 parking tickets unpaid that have resulted in a warrant for my arrest.

Speaker B:

Okay, I have seen him.

Speaker A:

I figured you had.

Speaker A:

He's like.

Speaker A:

So, like, that first one's on, like, on the older side, like OG Tick tock.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Like, the one I've definitely seen is just.

Speaker B:

Or maybe there's a couple videos where things just end up in his ass.

Speaker A:

Yeah, there are, but.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's.

Speaker B:

Those are the ones I've seen.

Speaker A:

I love that there's a few of them.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker A:

But, yeah, that is.

Speaker A:

That is.

Speaker A:

Yeah, he's good.

Speaker A:

He's one of the best magicians I've ever seen.

Speaker B:

True, I agree.

Speaker A:

I would like to point out that I haven't seen that many.

Speaker A:

There was one time, though, I was at, like, around the Clock diner in Indiana.

Speaker A:

And, like, it was like, end of a night, like, we were hanging out with friends.

Speaker A:

Then we were like, oh, we could all go for a snack.

Speaker A:

So we all went there in, like, high school.

Speaker A:

And this guy comes up and he.

Speaker A:

We were there at, like, midnight, and they got rid of their smoking section.

Speaker A:

When.

Speaker A:

This is a side note.

Speaker A:

They got rid of their smoking section when everyone else did.

Speaker A:

But I still.

Speaker A:

Every time I go in and they're like, how many?

Speaker A:

And I'm like, can we get three in the smoking section?

Speaker A:

And they're.

Speaker A:

They're.

Speaker A:

Everyone.

Speaker A:

They start to, like, get weird when you say that now, they'll like.

Speaker A:

They'll be like, sir, please don't light up in here.

Speaker A:

And like, before you light up, we don't have a smoking section anyway.

Speaker A:

So I did my normal bit and they were like, we don't have a smoking section.

Speaker A:

I was like, oh, darn.

Speaker A:

I could have swore you did.

Speaker A:

I was here smoking cigs last week.

Speaker A:

And then they were like.

Speaker A:

Then they see us.

Speaker A:

And then the guy comes around and he's just like a.

Speaker A:

Like a busboy, right?

Speaker A:

But he does magic for tips around at the other.

Speaker A:

All the tables.

Speaker A:

And it was like.

Speaker A:

It was like, good.

Speaker A:

Like, it was like, not like Indiana level magic.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker B:

Right, right.

Speaker A:

It wasn't like a farmer offering you magic beans.

Speaker A:

It was like.

Speaker A:

It was like.

Speaker A:

Like legit stuff.

Speaker A:

Like, I was like.

Speaker A:

I was like.

Speaker A:

I looked at him, I was like, why aren't you doing Vegas?

Speaker A:

And, yeah, I mean, he was like, maybe, like, slightly older.

Speaker A:

You know, like when you're like, man, this guy's like, old.

Speaker A:

And you're in high school.

Speaker A:

And then like, you're like.

Speaker A:

I'm like.

Speaker A:

I'm pretty sure I'm his age now.

Speaker B:

I was at.

Speaker B:

I was at some, like, state park and.

Speaker B:

Or not whatever, a park.

Speaker B:

And I think there was like, kids rides or whatever.

Speaker B:

It was my birthday and there was a magician show inside.

Speaker B:

So we go inside, we all sit down.

Speaker B:

I'm probably like 7 or 8 at this time, and starts doing his thing.

Speaker B:

And then, of course, he needs a volunteer.

Speaker B:

And because I was the birthday boy, I got chosen.

Speaker B:

So he puts me on his shoulders and has six juggling balls.

Speaker B:

And then he steps on a piece of wood, a straight piece of wood, a tube, not two by four, but like a.

Speaker B:

Like a.

Speaker B:

Like plankton.

Speaker B:

Or not plankton.

Speaker B:

What's.

Speaker B:

What's the plank?

Speaker B:

What cartoon is that?

Speaker A:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

Ed Eddy.

Speaker B:

Ed Nettie.

Speaker B:

Like, that would.

Speaker B:

Okay, yeah.

Speaker B:

And then is.

Speaker B:

It's on a rolling thing that he's balancing on.

Speaker B:

So I'm on his shoulders, he's juggling six balls plus my little ones.

Speaker B:

And then he's on the plank.

Speaker B:

And the more I think about it, I don't think he was a magician.

Speaker B:

I just think he was a clown.

Speaker B:

But because I don't remember any magic.

Speaker A:

It wasn't really magic.

Speaker A:

It was more just like a.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It was just an act.

Speaker B:

And it's like.

Speaker B:

It just sounds like it was a guy that called himself a magician, but just was really good at balancing.

Speaker A:

So he was like the magic of balance.

Speaker B:

But David Blaine, Physics.

Speaker B:

David Blaine, best magician.

Speaker B:

Mind freak.

Speaker A:

No, wait on.

Speaker A:

You mixed a couple up because there's Chris Angel, Mind freak.

Speaker B:

What did I just say?

Speaker A:

David Blaine.

Speaker B:

Yeah, he's the man.

Speaker A:

David Blaine, he's the best.

Speaker A:

But not Criss Angel.

Speaker B:

Correct.

Speaker B:

He's.

Speaker B:

He's saying.

Speaker A:

Yeah, because you said mind freak, and that's Criss Angel.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I knew that.

Speaker A:

Oh, okay.

Speaker B:

That's why he was second.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Because you were like.

Speaker A:

But you said David Blaine, mind freak.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And so I was confused as to think that you thought that maybe, just maybe David Blaine was also Chris Angel.

Speaker A:

Speaking of, you know, thinking people are similar and things like that, I had a friend in high school, middle school that he thought Helen Keller and Anne Frank were the same version.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I've.

Speaker B:

I've ran into a couple of them as well, and I may have been one for a little bit.

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Yeah, for a little bit.

Speaker A:

I mean, like, there's like, that little overlap where you're like.

Speaker A:

I see the parallels.

Speaker A:

They were drawn, right?

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Or, like, you'll hear.

Speaker B:

You won't hear the name, but you'll hear, like, context to their story and you're just like, oh, yeah, it's one of them.

Speaker B:

Which one is it?

Speaker B:

Yeah, it's.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they're.

Speaker B:

They're not the same person, but some.

Speaker B:

I don't know why.

Speaker B:

It just happens.

Speaker A:

I have a question for you.

Speaker A:

Do you think Helen Keller was a fraud?

Speaker A:

Wait, before I say that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that.

Speaker A:

Yeah, Helen Keller, not Anne Frank.

Speaker A:

Anne Frank definitely went through awful, awful things.

Speaker A:

And, like, then we all read her diary.

Speaker A:

Through enough.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

See, it took me.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

It took me a second to even process your question because I had to put together who was who.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And it's definitely not Anne Frank.

Speaker B:

That is a fraud.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Anyways.

Speaker A:

And Frank is the best.

Speaker A:

Was.

Speaker A:

This is.

Speaker B:

We're just digging ourselves a deeper hole.

Speaker A:

She was.

Speaker A:

It's a very well written diary.

Speaker B:

That made me cry.

Speaker B:

Had to read it in grade school.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I don't think they made us read it until high school or.

Speaker A:

No, not high school.

Speaker A:

It would have been like middle school.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Like seventh grade.

Speaker B:

Sounds Seventh grade.

Speaker A:

Seventh grade, Yeah.

Speaker B:

I don't know.

Speaker B:

Helen Keller.

Speaker B:

Was she a fraud because she was deaf and mute and then wrote a book and then wrote.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I don't know to the extent, because people are like, oh, I'm blind.

Speaker B:

It's like, okay, do you mean you can't see anything?

Speaker B:

Are you just saying, like, it's a little blurry and you just got about 20ft in front of you because.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I understand that's obviously impaired vision, but stop calling yourself blind.

Speaker B:

You are impaired visually.

Speaker B:

No, through the ohos.

Speaker B:

And then people are blind.

Speaker B:

The ones with the sticks, obviously, like, they.

Speaker B:

Oh, my God.

Speaker B:

Speaking of that, I saw a video the other day.

Speaker B:

Maybe it was on Tick Tock.

Speaker B:

Who knows?

Speaker B:

Maybe it was last night, and it was two blind guys meeting, and, like, eventually one hit the other in the shin, and then the video cut off.

Speaker B:

I don't know why the person shouldn't have been scared that they were going to see him and, like, tell them, hey, delete it.

Speaker B:

Yeah, but talk about, like, one in a million lifetime of something like that to experience.

Speaker A:

You know, it's like going out blind guys at once.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Colliding.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

It's the city equivalent of, like, going out in the ocean and, like, being deep at sea and, like, having, like, a beautiful, like, whale swim by you or a great white or, like, it's the.

Speaker B:

It's the city equivalent to that.

Speaker A:

Two, like, two blind people.

Speaker A:

Because here's the thing I saw.

Speaker A:

I always, like.

Speaker A:

I'm always like.

Speaker A:

Like, I see him getting on the train sometimes.

Speaker A:

Sometimes blind people need to get places.

Speaker A:

And then I always want to, like, be like, oh, hey, do you need, like, assistance?

Speaker A:

But I'm also, like, I don't, like, want to demean them in any way.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, they're their own person.

Speaker A:

Also.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker A:

I always feel like I'm gonna startle them.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, sneak up on them.

Speaker A:

I mean, not the way I move, but, like, you know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, I was like.

Speaker A:

I'm like, dude, does it constantly feel like someone's sneaking up on you?

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker B:

But it wasn't.

Speaker B:

It proven true that if you have a deficit, if that's the right word.

Speaker A:

If you're blind, you have enhanced other features.

Speaker B:

Yeah, the other thing is enhanced.

Speaker B:

So he probably heard you coming.

Speaker B:

When you're, like, 30ft away.

Speaker B:

He's like, yeah, like, that guy just started working out.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like, that's why.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

Daredevil is one of My favorite, like, comic book superheroes is because he's blind.

Speaker A:

He lost.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I know, but the reason I asked if you thought Helen Keller was a fraud was because a lot of people think that she was, but more on the side of her caretaker, Ann Sullivan, I believe it was.

Speaker B:

Sounds right.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I'm like.

Speaker A:

I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

Speaker A:

I'm, like, trying to make sure she, like, Ian Sullivan wasn't like, Anne Frank's best friend.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

Yeah, an Sullivan I'm pretty sure is the one that, like, ran the water over her hand and like, like, signed it into the palm.

Speaker A:

They think that she capitalized on the fact that Helen Keller.

Speaker A:

No, no, no.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

No, that, like, Helen Keller was, like, disabled and all this.

Speaker A:

And then she, like, wrote the book for her and was like, oh, look at.

Speaker A:

I like.

Speaker A:

The work that I did was so good that this person who was blind and deaf was able to accomplish so much.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, she almost like, like, cheated for her, and she was like, look, we're just gonna.

Speaker A:

I'm gonna take the test for you.

Speaker A:

Don't worry about.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker A:

It's like, she's a genius.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I mean, I don't know.

Speaker A:

I wasn't the there, but, you know, I just think it's interesting that that is something that could happen.

Speaker B:

I mean, that's kind of what happened with Facebook, right?

Speaker B:

With Zuckerberg?

Speaker A:

No, I think.

Speaker A:

I think.

Speaker A:

I think Helen Keller and Ann Sullivan is a different situation than, like, you know, the.

Speaker A:

The Winklevoss twins and Zuckerberg.

Speaker A:

You sure?

Speaker A:

I'm, like, pretty positive that it's different.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

We should ask AI.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Should I?

Speaker B:

Yes, ask them.

Speaker B:

Let it see.

Speaker B:

You know, let it dive into your brain and.

Speaker B:

Because I doubt it's been asked this question.

Speaker B:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So, okay, let me see.

Speaker A:

What are we asking it?

Speaker B:

Just say, is Helen Keller.

Speaker B:

Say instead of is.

Speaker B:

My only ask is to say isn't.

Speaker B:

Like, tell the AI that this is how you're feeling.

Speaker B:

And then I just want to see how it responds.

Speaker A:

Yeah, like, it isn't.

Speaker A:

Yeah, isn't Helen Keller.

Speaker A:

Isn't Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan.

Speaker A:

Okay, question.

Speaker A:

That's a creative comparison.

Speaker A:

In both pairs, you have one person credited with something groundbreaking who receives significant assistance or inspir separation from another.

Speaker A:

However, the dynamics and outcomes in each situation are pretty different.

Speaker A:

Okay, this.

Speaker A:

We might actually learn something here.

Speaker B:

Can you center it so that people can see?

Speaker A:

That's what I'M trying to do.

Speaker A:

Hang on.

Speaker A:

Wait.

Speaker B:

Try harder.

Speaker B:

How dare you.

Speaker B:

Sick.

Speaker B:

Look at that barbecue picture.

Speaker B:

Do you work out?

Speaker A:

I do work out.

Speaker A:

Like, recently.

Speaker A:

It's super recent.

Speaker A:

Don't worry about it.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

I steam.

Speaker A:

Helen Keller and Ann Sullivan.

Speaker A:

Ann Sullivan was Helen Keller's dedicated teacher and companion, helping her overcome profound challenges due to her disabilities.

Speaker A:

Together, they created a method of communication that changed Keller's life and allowed her to become an influential advocate, author, and lecturer.

Speaker A:

Sullivan's role was one of mentorship and teaching, with Keller actively building on what she learned to share her story and fight for disability rights.

Speaker A:

Okay, so, like, I mean, even if she was a fraud, she, you know, did some good in her lifetime.

Speaker A:

I mean, it was for a good cause, so.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You're like, no, I'm not a good guys.

Speaker B:

Well, I'm, I'm quite.

Speaker B:

I'm questioning the whole lecturer title.

Speaker B:

I don't know how, but it's fine.

Speaker A:

Well, lecturer is like a teacher almost.

Speaker A:

Well, not necessarily, but I'm like, I.

Speaker A:

I think that's how they're using it, as like a teacher.

Speaker B:

But they already said teacher, and I don't think the AI would repeat itself.

Speaker A:

But I.

Speaker A:

I think that they were guessing.

Speaker B:

No, she didn't.

Speaker A:

Not in the same sentence.

Speaker A:

Yeah, mentorship and teaching.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So she was a lecturer.

Speaker A:

She would tell her right from wrong things you should.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Things like that.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Number two.

Speaker A:

Mark Zuckerberg and the Winklevoss twins.

Speaker A:

The Winklevoss twins claimed that Zuckerberg took their idea for a social networking site that they had initially proposed to him.

Speaker A:

This led to a high profile legal dispute, resulting in a financial settlement.

Speaker A:

Here the relationship was competitive rather than collaborative, focusing on intellectual property and the origin of an idea, rather than mentorship or shared goals.

Speaker A:

Yeah, so I don't think they're similar.

Speaker A:

I mean, I think, like, you know, like, I don't know, chat.

Speaker A:

GPT did say it was a.

Speaker B:

Read that last paragraph.

Speaker B:

How they sum it up?

Speaker B:

AI Knows best.

Speaker B:

This is what we'll take for the rest of our lives.

Speaker A:

So while both scenarios involve collaboration, in Keller and Sullivan's case, there's a spirit of mutual respect and growth.

Speaker A:

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg and the Winklevoss twins relationship centered around dispute and competitive competition over credit and ownership.

Speaker A:

So there's that.

Speaker B:

All right, but a little bit.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

No, I don't know.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker B:

Not.

Speaker B:

I mean, not saying that to go back to the bot, but I think we just ask AI if Helen Keller was a fraud.

Speaker B:

And kind of see what it comes up with.

Speaker B:

We both have our opinions, but I want to know what it thinks, because that's, you know, that's a deep question, and I think AI will make it even deeper and probably bring up points that we didn't even think were known because we're human.

Speaker A:

No, Helen Keller was not a fraud.

Speaker A:

She genuinely overcame tremendous obstacles to communicate and advocate for people with disabilities.

Speaker A:

See, that's why I think regardless of whether she was a fraud or not, like, she advocated for people with disabilities, that is worth it.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker B:

Because.

Speaker B:

Yes, but here's the thing.

Speaker A:

Like, no.

Speaker A:

Do I think she faked it?

Speaker A:

No, I don't think she faked it.

Speaker A:

I think maybe Ann Sullivan did a little bit more than she claimed to have.

Speaker A:

But, like, other than that, to benefit.

Speaker A:

To benefit.

Speaker A:

Both of their, like, like, you know, moved.

Speaker A:

I don't know if they came from money.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

So I don't know if they was just to, like, elevate themselves in society or in the eyes of the public, whatever.

Speaker B:

So here's the thing, though.

Speaker B:

When.

Speaker B:

When I hear about a person with disabilities, my brain does not think of deaf and blind people.

Speaker B:

And is that bad?

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

But I mean, there's so many different.

Speaker A:

Especially now, there's so many different types of disability.

Speaker A:

Like, even technically ADHD is a disability.

Speaker A:

Technically, I don't.

Speaker A:

I mean, like, I guess there's different severities of everything, too.

Speaker A:

So, like, some people are partially blind.

Speaker A:

Like, some people are like me.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like with adhd.

Speaker A:

But then there's some people who, you know.

Speaker B:

But I know.

Speaker B:

But nobody's like, yeah, like, that person's disabled.

Speaker B:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

It's like, yeah.

Speaker B:

And you look and you look over and you just see a normal person and you don't know they can't hear you.

Speaker B:

They're deaf.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker B:

Like, you're not looking and thinking that you're about.

Speaker B:

You're looking at.

Speaker A:

You think they should.

Speaker A:

Something.

Speaker B:

No, no.

Speaker B:

I almost feel bad that, like, I'm like, I think my.

Speaker B:

My brain is messed up because when I hear the word disabled, I think of not deaf and blind people, and I need to bring them into the category.

Speaker B:

But here's the thing.

Speaker B:

I'm in the category, so I feel like more people are in the category than not in the category currently.

Speaker B:

And what is the level of.

Speaker B:

You are now disabled, Right?

Speaker A:

Yeah, I guess I.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I didn't think we'd get there today.

Speaker A:

No, I did.

Speaker A:

This is not Where I have so many more videos.

Speaker A:

I told you.

Speaker A:

I said, when we do these web searches, and especially when we chat with AI, it this just like, we go on these deep dives.

Speaker A:

Like, last I looked, we were at 12 minutes.

Speaker A:

It's at 41.

Speaker B:

That's.

Speaker B:

I mean, we're.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

We're just testing the boundaries of man.

Speaker A:

All right, well, okay, so technically, AI says she's not a fraud.

Speaker A:

I don't think she's a fraud.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I'm gonna absolutely say she's not a fraud, because then I'm telling the world that I think it's okay that a person with disabilities is a fraud, because I don't think that can happen.

Speaker A:

You don't think a person with disabilities could be a fraud?

Speaker A:

Well, it depends.

Speaker A:

I could commit fraud tomorrow.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

I mean, you can be a fraud in any severe, severe disabilities.

Speaker A:

Severe disabilities, which I would fall label.

Speaker B:

Blind and deaf into that category.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's pretty severe.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Where do you put colorblind?

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I don't think the community is going to come after us, however you answer this question.

Speaker A:

Just so we're clear.

Speaker A:

So fire away.

Speaker B:

Not severe.

Speaker B:

It's like eating a jalapeno without the seeds.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I.

Speaker B:

But I've never met more people that didn't know they were colorblind than in the military.

Speaker B:

They.

Speaker B:

Bless you.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker B:

They especially, like, while it was happening, like, I was in a room of 15, 20 dudes, and, like, three of them just come back and they're just like, oh, never knew, like, what.

Speaker A:

Brett had a couch forever.

Speaker A:

Like, when we were growing up, he had a couch in his living room that was green.

Speaker A:

It was green.

Speaker A:

It was like a deep green leather couch.

Speaker A:

And if, you know, if.

Speaker A:

If the lighting was dim, it would look black, you know, but, like, if the lights were on, you could tell.

Speaker A:

Like, if you shine a flashlight on it, you'd be like, that's fucking green.

Speaker A:

And to this day, he will not admit that those couches are green.

Speaker A:

But that is red and green.

Speaker A:

Colorblind.

Speaker A:

And he.

Speaker A:

Every year, he pretends to cry when his mother puts up the GR Christmas tree.

Speaker A:

Because he will.

Speaker A:

Like, he'll go home and he'll be like, why do you even put it up, Mom?

Speaker A:

I can't see it.

Speaker B:

All that.

Speaker B:

Poor, poor Ms.

Speaker B:

Brett's mom.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So.

Speaker A:

All right, more videos for you.

Speaker A:

Specifically, Tick Tocks.

Speaker A:

These are Tic Tacs.

Speaker A:

I think some of them are from their Instagram page, but I actually found a deep dive of this guy's.

Speaker A:

His Name is Will Something.

Speaker A:

Hang on.

Speaker B:

That's an interesting name.

Speaker B:

Will Something.

Speaker A:

Will Angus from Almost Friday.

Speaker A:

They have the Almost Friday podcast, the Friday Beers.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Super cool group, those guys.

Speaker A:

Anyway.

Speaker A:

But this is one of his, like, really old, like, during.

Speaker A:

Like, Covid.

Speaker A:

Tick tocks.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Hey, Mom, Will's almost here.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

The house is a wreck.

Speaker A:

Look, there's boxes everywhere.

Speaker A:

Look, we're in the middle of the remodel.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

He's gonna hate us.

Speaker B:

What's up, man?

Speaker B:

What's up, James?

Speaker B:

How you doing, man?

Speaker B:

Good to see.

Speaker A:

What the fuck is this?

Speaker A:

This place is a fucking wreck.

Speaker A:

You want to vacuum?

Speaker B:

He's never gonna want to come back.

Speaker C:

Why did you invite me?

Speaker A:

Why did you not?

Speaker A:

Mom, guess where I am.

Speaker A:

Yup.

Speaker A:

And their place is a wreck remodel.

Speaker A:

You can help us.

Speaker B:

Is this a good wallpaper?

Speaker A:

You.

Speaker B:

You stupid son of a bitch.

Speaker A:

That's me.

Speaker A:

I'm the bitch.

Speaker A:

You're part of the problem.

Speaker B:

Yeah, like, I like that one.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yep.

Speaker B:

I love those guys.

Speaker A:

So that guy has a bunch of them, right?

Speaker A:

But he also.

Speaker A:

He does, like, group ones.

Speaker A:

Have you seen the ones?

Speaker A:

I think I've sent you some of them on Instagram with the entrepreneur.

Speaker A:

Like, where they're, like, where the guy does the.

Speaker A:

Oh, I'll show those next time, for sure.

Speaker A:

Yeah, like the Dupont Method.

Speaker A:

I've never sent you those.

Speaker A:

I'll send you one of them, but I'm gonna bring you a different one to class next week.

Speaker B:

With my new desk.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you're gonna have a new desk and everything.

Speaker A:

All right, I got one more by him and then I have a third video, but we might not show it right away.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker D:

Did you grief my Minecraft server?

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker D:

All the chickens are gone and it's not wolves.

Speaker A:

I didn't know you had a Minecraft server.

Speaker A:

Would you like to see it?

Speaker A:

Sure.

Speaker D:

This is my dog, Fluffy.

Speaker D:

I'm not sure.

Speaker A:

Do you have me in a cage down there?

Speaker A:

It says Liam.

Speaker A:

Then there's a trap door.

Speaker A:

Am I in there?

Speaker A:

Open that trap door.

Speaker D:

The worlds randomly generate, so.

Speaker D:

Hello, ladies.

Speaker A:

What's that sign say?

Speaker D:

Waves.

Speaker B:

Those are your wives?

Speaker D:

These are some of my wives.

Speaker B:

Some of your wives?

Speaker A:

Sure.

Speaker A:

What do you mean, sure?

Speaker A:

Sure.

Speaker D:

I think everyone's had enough water today.

Speaker D:

Father Zachary.

Speaker D:

Oh, you've been awful naughty.

Speaker D:

Father Zachary likes to get the other villagers excited with scripture.

Speaker A:

Go down there right now.

Speaker D:

Are you sure?

Speaker A:

Positive.

Speaker B:

Positive.

Speaker B:

Go down there right now.

Speaker B:

What the is this, man?

Speaker D:

Dude, Happy birthday, Gloria.

Speaker A:

What?

Speaker A:

Of course.

Speaker D:

That's my first wife.

Speaker D:

Of course.

Speaker D:

She Was my wife.

Speaker D:

Until I found out about what was happening with Father Zachary.

Speaker D:

Now she's where she is.

Speaker A:

Is that a grave?

Speaker A:

His bastard bucket for pooping.

Speaker A:

Opinion.

Speaker D:

Pooping and peeing.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

The bed six.

Speaker D:

Father Zachary, your son's mind is like wet clay.

Speaker D:

I will mold it.

Speaker D:

Not so spiritual now.

Speaker D:

Another failed coup.

Speaker D:

Pride.

Speaker D:

One of the seven deadly sins.

Speaker D:

And to think they all elected me.

Speaker D:

Goodbye, Zachary.

Speaker D:

Tell Gloria I said hello.

Speaker B:

I used to play Minecraft in, like, junior year of high school because it was the only free game to download to the computer, and.

Speaker A:

And now it's, like, 50 bucks.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

That's what we would do during class.

Speaker A:

I love Minecraft.

Speaker A:

When you take vitamins and you go.

Speaker A:

And you just build.

Speaker A:

Yeah, well, we're adults.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

When you smoke a little weed and then you just.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I've only ever played on, like.

Speaker A:

Like, PlayStation or Xbox or.

Speaker A:

Can you play on PlayStation?

Speaker A:

I think I might only play it on Xbox.

Speaker B:

I don't know, to be honest.

Speaker A:

I'd have to imagine at this point, they've opened it up and then, like, my sister plays on PC and she.

Speaker A:

She was like, it's so much quicker.

Speaker A:

You can build way quicker.

Speaker A:

It's like.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

She's like, it's eons better than.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Playing on, like, a council.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

But, yeah.

Speaker A:

All right, that was.

Speaker A:

That's.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

I like those guys a lot.

Speaker A:

The Almost Friday, and they have, like, a bunch of different ones.

Speaker A:

And you would actually really like this.

Speaker A:

They have a podcast where they do, like.

Speaker A:

It's, like, improv bits.

Speaker A:

So it's fun.

Speaker A:

It's a good.

Speaker A:

It's a good time.

Speaker B:

What's it called?

Speaker B:

Do you know?

Speaker A:

The Almost Friday podcast?

Speaker A:

But it's on, like, YouTube.

Speaker A:

I don't know if they.

Speaker A:

I don't know if they're on the normal, like, Spotify.

Speaker A:

I just watch them on YouTube or I'll watch clips of it on TikTok.

Speaker B:

Do you think you could do that?

Speaker A:

Like, improv bits on, like, a podcast?

Speaker A:

Like, what have we been.

Speaker A:

What have I been doing for the past 50 minutes?

Speaker B:

Making fun of people with disabilities.

Speaker A:

I guess that is how it could come across to some people.

Speaker A:

The comments are gonna be like, can't believe they feel this way.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Like this third episode.

Speaker A:

Mr.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

This is their third.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

God.

Speaker A:

But I mean, that's okay.

Speaker A:

I mean, we did.

Speaker A:

I don't feel that way about people with disabilities.

Speaker A:

I just.

Speaker A:

I hear a lot of.

Speaker A:

I just brought up about Helen Keller because, I mean, I.

Speaker A:

I was on that part of Tick Tock for A little while.

Speaker A:

And sometimes, like, yeah, I do feel like I'm responsible for my for you page.

Speaker A:

But I also feel like maybe it does.

Speaker A:

Like, sometimes they show you that I'm like, I didn't really ask for this.

Speaker A:

I don't feel like this one's my fault.

Speaker A:

You know, I wasn't, like, going down rabbit holes looking to, like, doubt Ellen Geller.

Speaker A:

So it just kind of like they just started showing me videos and I was like, oh, I guess that's a new way to think about it.

Speaker B:

This is.

Speaker B:

This is Tick Tock's fault.

Speaker A:

I would blame that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So it's not even.

Speaker A:

Not even our country's fault.

Speaker B:

It's supposed to.

Speaker B:

Whether it's going to get banned is, like, decided on, like, January 20th or something if it's not bought by a US company.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

But you know what I really miss?

Speaker B:

What?

Speaker A:

I really miss Vine.

Speaker B:

Yeah, those are the days.

Speaker A:

But also, a lot of the people that were on vine have, like, allegations.

Speaker A:

And, like, I feel like that was the original, like, people rose to fame too quickly.

Speaker B:

I mean, the Paul brothers, that's where they got their start.

Speaker B:

I think Luke Combs got his start on Vine.

Speaker B:

Yeah, I tried to be a Viner.

Speaker B:

Obviously, that went well.

Speaker A:

Yeah, because you're super famous.

Speaker A:

So that's why we're doing this podcast.

Speaker A:

But, yeah, no, I loved Vine.

Speaker A:

I used to, like, I had an Android at the time, but I used to steal my sister's iPhone and make Vines and, like, watch it.

Speaker A:

I'd be like, for an hour.

Speaker A:

Can we take trade phones?

Speaker A:

And she used to get so pissed.

Speaker B:

Only six seconds.

Speaker B:

Six seconds to change your life.

Speaker A:

Wouldn't that be.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they were the funniest, like, six second videos, too.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

And they're Honestly, too.

Speaker B:

Because that's.

Speaker B:

I mean, that's why our attention span is.

Speaker B:

Because we were.

Speaker B:

We were just.

Speaker B:

We were obsessed and loving six seconds of content.

Speaker B:

So then everyone else is like, oh, that's all it takes.

Speaker A:

And now our attention spans are ruined.

Speaker B:

Thanks.

Speaker B:

Flavor 40 red 40.

Speaker A:

Do you watch the guys on SNL that kind of took over for the Lonely Island?

Speaker B:

No, I didn't know that happened.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So there's a new group of guys called Please Do Not Destroy, and then they have a movie out on, like, a peacock.

Speaker A:

I believe it's a.

Speaker A:

It's so funny.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

But I mean, I, like, I find these guys hilarious.

Speaker A:

And they.

Speaker A:

They do, you know, shorts and stuff for snl, but they also had, like, a bunch of shorts that they did way before.

Speaker A:

Like, that's how they got found by snl.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I had watched their movie with like, somebody and I was.

Speaker A:

The person was like, oh, my God, this feels like I just watched like an hour and a half of like tick tocks.

Speaker A:

Like, and I was like, oh, cool.

Speaker A:

Like, and, but like, like the kind of tick tocks, like, like the having friends over, the random roommate, like, things like that.

Speaker A:

Like.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Interesting.

Speaker A:

This video queued up for you.

Speaker A:

To show you this now.

Speaker A:

How you guys feeling?

Speaker A:

Feeling pumped, dude.

Speaker A:

Honestly, I'm kind of nervous.

Speaker B:

Me too.

Speaker B:

Me too.

Speaker B:

What's that?

Speaker A:

I'm just.

Speaker B:

I'm feeling nervous too.

Speaker B:

I just have like a weird feeling in my stomach.

Speaker A:

I guess that feeling never goes away, huh?

Speaker A:

No, usually neither.

Speaker B:

Never nervous.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker D:

I don't know.

Speaker A:

I just woke up feeling off today.

Speaker A:

Just like.

Speaker A:

Luck's not on my side.

Speaker A:

I hate to hear that.

Speaker A:

Who's with which instructor?

Speaker A:

I'm with you and glasses.

Speaker A:

You'll be with my guy Dirk over there.

Speaker A:

So I don't even get him on.

Speaker B:

The weekends now, huh?

Speaker A:

You all?

Speaker A:

Good day.

Speaker B:

My lawyer.

Speaker B:

I just lost the kids.

Speaker A:

Should we maybe head back?

Speaker A:

Yo, you guys talking vibes?

Speaker A:

Something's weird, right?

Speaker A:

Why is he wearing AirPods?

Speaker A:

Yeah, but maybe this is my first.

Speaker B:

Day jitters, you know?

Speaker C:

Oh, my God, dude, maybe we should jump.

Speaker B:

I don't trust my guy to pull the cord.

Speaker B:

So this is my life, huh?

Speaker B:

10 out of 10.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I mean, okay, it's hard to not have the 10 out of 10 sketch when, like, you have Michael Keaton also.

Speaker A:

And my favorite fact about Michael Keaton is he started as a stand up comedian.

Speaker B:

Didn't know that.

Speaker B:

Don't know much about him.

Speaker B:

I think he's from Nebraska.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I have no idea.

Speaker A:

I don't know about that.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that was a guess.

Speaker B:

Just, you know, an educated guess.

Speaker B:

Maybe Mr.

Speaker B:

Keaton.

Speaker B:

I'm guessing he's 58.

Speaker A:

I'm pretty sure he's in his 6.

Speaker A:

He's 73.

Speaker A:

Looks great for 73, though.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

And he is from Pennsylvania.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Kind of similar.

Speaker B:

Similar.

Speaker B:

Similar shape.

Speaker A:

Are they?

Speaker B:

Pennsylvania might be a tad.

Speaker B:

I'm.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker A:

I'm.

Speaker B:

If you're looking at the country.

Speaker B:

If you're looking at the country, I think Pennsylvania is a tad smaller by a tad.

Speaker B:

Probably a lot when we're talking about the size of the state.

Speaker B:

Nebraska is just long.

Speaker B:

Long and square.

Speaker B:

Driven through it multiple times.

Speaker B:

One of the most boring drives in America.

Speaker B:

But it's, you know, it's farmland.

Speaker B:

Maybe I'm just Used to it.

Speaker B:

Maybe it's a great drive for other people.

Speaker B:

I'm just been there, done that.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Trying to see.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Where the Nebraska in, like, the middle of the country.

Speaker A:

Oh, yeah.

Speaker A:

I guess they're similar.

Speaker A:

That is a lot smaller.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Wow.

Speaker A:

That's crazy.

Speaker A:

Like, I doubt that's why you thought that, but I.

Speaker A:

You know, I thought you really.

Speaker A:

I bet you're the same.

Speaker B:

Can you show me?

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

So here's Pennsylvania.

Speaker B:

Oh, this is not a good, like, outline.

Speaker A:

No, it's not.

Speaker B:

But I thought it's gonna see, like.

Speaker A:

The shape of the state kind of are.

Speaker A:

Oops.

Speaker A:

Nebraska is right.

Speaker A:

Gray hair.

Speaker A:

You can see the outline.

Speaker A:

Yeah, that.

Speaker A:

That was where I just clicked on the link.

Speaker A:

That was where Michael Keaton was born.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

So my guess on him being born in Nebraska wasn't far off, based on the state's shape.

Speaker A:

It's a stretch, brother.

Speaker A:

Like, that's.

Speaker A:

I know, but I'm saying, like, that's.

Speaker A:

You can't be like.

Speaker A:

Well, the shape was like, of the guy, the one I guessed.

Speaker B:

That's science, dude.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I.

Speaker A:

I'm glad you like the videos I brought you today.

Speaker B:

They're great.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

I think the last one is probably my favorite.

Speaker A:

Well, we should get you moving back to Chicago so you can.

Speaker A:

You can have a gym with a steam room.

Speaker B:

That would be nice.

Speaker B:

It's an expensive gym.

Speaker A:

It's not.

Speaker A:

What do you pay a month for your gym?

Speaker B:

80.

Speaker A:

That's what I pay.

Speaker B:

No, it's not.

Speaker A:

I pay 84.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I get a pool.

Speaker A:

I have a hot tub.

Speaker A:

I have a sauna, a steam room, locker room.

Speaker A:

I assume they all have that.

Speaker B:

Usually people change, so, I mean, you know, depends where you are.

Speaker B:

Some big, like, big gym complaint is just the guys that just wear.

Speaker B:

Like, I don't care how big you are, but when they just wear the piece that.

Speaker A:

It's just.

Speaker B:

It's.

Speaker B:

It's a cutoff, but it's not even cut off.

Speaker B:

Oh.

Speaker A:

It doesn't cover their nipples.

Speaker B:

It's a rag.

Speaker B:

And it's just straight down their body.

Speaker B:

It's like, okay, maybe man.

Speaker B:

Maybe.

Speaker B:

Or woman.

Speaker B:

I don't.

Speaker B:

I don't really see girls wear this.

Speaker B:

Guys.

Speaker B:

I'm talking to guys.

Speaker B:

Maybe, like, just use that to clean your car.

Speaker B:

Like it's now a rag.

Speaker B:

Like it's not no more.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker A:

I don't like that.

Speaker A:

I've never liked that look.

Speaker A:

Because in the early:

Speaker A:

Like the, like, when they'd cut Them real low to, you know, on the sides.

Speaker A:

The tank tops.

Speaker A:

And like, they're just like.

Speaker A:

They're so far in, and I'm like, I don't.

Speaker A:

I like working out in a T shirt.

Speaker A:

You know what I mean?

Speaker A:

Like, I don't really like tank tops that much.

Speaker A:

Yeah, Like, I will for, like, Fourth of July, things like that.

Speaker A:

I'll wear one like, if I'm in the pool.

Speaker A:

But, like, even if I'm working out, I'm like, I don't really wanna.

Speaker A:

Because usually the gym is, like, air conditioned.

Speaker A:

It's perfect temperature, sometimes a little chilly.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

I'm like.

Speaker A:

I'm like, sometimes I like to work out in a sweatshirt.

Speaker A:

Like, my.

Speaker A:

My goal when I'm there is to sweat as hard as I can.

Speaker A:

So not even.

Speaker A:

But, yeah, if you come back to Chicago, you should just get one of the.

Speaker A:

And the cool thing is you can go to any of the athletic clubs, the Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview.

Speaker A:

There's got to be more.

Speaker A:

That's true.

Speaker B:

That's true.

Speaker B:

So if we find a studio.

Speaker B:

We got to find a studio.

Speaker A:

Yeah, you got to find a place before we find a studio.

Speaker B:

I'm more worried about a studio.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Logan's gotta love that.

Speaker A:

She's like, where are we sleeping?

Speaker A:

You're like, don't worry about it.

Speaker A:

We.

Speaker A:

You're gonna record first, and then we can go to bed.

Speaker B:

Behind the green screen, there's a sleeping bag.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

All right, buddy.

Speaker B:

Well, that was an hour on the dot.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

We're getting good at this.

Speaker A:

Speaker B:

Three and four years.

Speaker A:

One disability episode.

Speaker B:

I don't think we've talked about the D word before.

Speaker B:

Better than the R word.

Speaker B:

You know you can't say that one, but the D word's fine.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

When I added that out.
